Finally! A new camera.

After much waiting and stuffing around. I have a new camera. It was a difficult process, after researching possible options I was pretty sure that this was the camera I wanted but this being India nothing is straightforward, the bullshit people tell you just to get a deal. I wont bore you with the exact details but I had to order it from Delhi with the help of a friend, then get it sent to Dharamsala where I could pick it up. I knew it was going to be expensive in the long run, especially considering I would be going to Thailand soon, where I could purchase the same camera for half the price (Cameras are expensive in India) and if I hadnt been going to the Himalayas I wouldn’t have bothered but whats more important saving a hundred dollars or so, or having memories that I will be able to share.

So here its is my Canon S90 – Its the size of a compact, which is great, I really like a camera that I can fit in my pocket but it can do many of things a DSLR can do, like shoot RAW images (Unprocessed files) and one of the best features, for me especially, is that I can edit the images on the camera and upload them straight to the blog. I am still learning how to use it so if you have any tips let me know.
