Lately, a work of art, such as a good film I’m expecting to watch, a song I feel I need to listen to… or the exciting prospect of incoming news from my friends across the globe via gmail or facebook. :D I guess, also, the hope that something new and exciting can begin today, that I get another chance at life, at living. Sometimes I’m surprised by the generosity of these seemingly gratuitous chances and imagine that life has put as much hope in me as I in it.
At some occasions, life stops. Not with a sudden BAM! – it takes a while till the halt.
At those times, it doesn’t matter at all if you keep on moving or not.
But then, suddenly you notice that you want to move, that there is hope, that there is LIFE, and knowing that THIS moment always exists, is what gets ME out of bed every morning – no matter what’s actually happening in life.
Oh, and by the way, Ben was one of the persons teaching me that; he deserves some pathetic stuff in exchange. ;)
but i also REALLY love my life!! im super blessed to love my job and workmates, have amazing friends and family and live in paradise so i just gotta get out of bed!!!
Hey Ben, this is Dimmy. Following your notes happy to be sure that you got positive sight at bad things. Probably the eyes and the heart are the best way to censor and store memories. All the best to you and your buddy to carry the trip on.
Hey Ben – it’s your sister! I figure this is the only way to make sure you’re still alive! Plus I’m sure you’re going to have an amazing trip. Website looks great and I’m looking forward to hearing all the adventures.

To bring happiness to others, to laugh, to travel more, to accomplish my life list, to dance and to…..
“Breathe deep…sit quietly…discover what soothes your soul. Retreat…reflect…be brave as you journey into the next phase of your life…find comfort from within…let your light shine from inner transformation”
Have fun Ben & Doug! Looking forward to to reading and watching your adventures.
I guess I should write an actual decent reason besides my plans to thwart Doug’s happiness. I saw this in a movie recently called ‘Into the wild’, so I cant take credit for being well read, but there is a quote in there by Henry David Thoreau which says Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth.”
This gets me out of bed.
to be amazed by all the stupid wonderfull things people do, that i could never thought of in my dreams…and then laugh at them, but be a little bit jealous of them…
I was sitting in a bar with 3 beautiful girls yesterday and guess what they where talking about? SOCCER! Stuff I thought just can’t happen in real life… I don’t know shit about soccer.
Because I always get to that point where I just can’t stand the smell of my farts in bed any longer. Ow yeah and because life is awesome and all the other philosophical gibber gabber ;)

well… good question!
actually ordinary things make me get out of bed in the morning! Sun, kiss, breakfast with friends before work…
I wish you both a very good journey! its easy to get out of bed in the morning when u`re travelling! Thirst for adventures force u to do it ^_^
I live to jump out of that bed, crash into my jeans, thunder down the stairs and get outdoors. As soon as I can see all of the sky and catch up on what the clouds and wind and birds and trees are up to already for the day, I am alive. I despise sleep. I would probably sleep outdoors but I have deep negative feelings about bugs.
Hi, I own Bullet Bike. Going to Rishikesh. Planning trip to LEH.

Knowing that the sun is up! The wind is raising, and the boat is reddy for a beautiful day of regatta sailing!
Doug, have fun and be safe!
Ben, take care of my big nephew!

I get out of bed at 7AM every morning, every day of the week.
Reason: it’s the time my lovely baby son wakes up too. But no matter how early it is, he always makes me feel wide awake.

My mission is to be the best person I can be.
Animals are my passion so I’ve joined up with my local SPCA and am now on the board of directors and working very hard to raise money for the shelter.
I love helping out with non profits.
I think we all need to work on the mission of being happy. Happiness spreads in everything we do.

Travel the world with only one question in mind for every interesting person I meet:
“Why do you get up in the morning? “
